The switch that engages the scrub brush motor is located near the machine down pressure lever lock on the support bracket.
2 |
The switch is activated when the lever is released and the scrub head is lowered to the floor. It is deactivated when the lever is moved onto the locked/transport position.

This lever is most often actuated by the operators foot. The most common reason for replacing the switch is because of damage due to operator error or machine handling.
4 |
This switch should also be checked if the brush motor is constantly on and will not shut off.
5 |
Please note that machines should not be tilted backwards for any reason which could cause damage to this switch as well as other components on rear of machine.
